You get up to 15 hand drums, more optional if needed, a set of big bass drums and lots of fun hand held percussion instruments to play with. No skills are required as we will have you banging out the beats in no time. Our workshops are very FUN filled, uplifting and will leave you with great memories to share forever. These party workshops can be applied to any age. Please note Extra Travel Time fees may apply.
SCHOOL WORKSHOPS AND PROGRAMS
Option 1 – Drum for fun workshop
Our Drum for fun workshop’s aim is to help support the social and emotional well-being of the students. Currently anxiety and stress are becoming more prevalent in the classroom and are showing no signs of decreasing. These workshops will provide a physical workout where students will be releasing happy endorphins, getting rid of any built-up stress and anxiety. They bring the FUN to the classroom with our awesome bongo beats, while teaching the students how to play the drums.
Option 2- Introduction program to drumming 4 week course
This program is an introduction to drumming. Over the 4 weeks, the students will learn how to play the drum, compose, present and perform their own musical piece. The program provides the students with a drum circle that is inclusive, promotes individual creativity and expression. We teach the students to share ideas, solve problems and work as a team, in a positive uplifting environment. A program like this, provides many physical and mental health benefits for the students. It will help improve the students’ self-esteem, respect for others and focus in the classroom.
DRUMMING WORKSHOPS FOR VACATION CARE & O,S,H,C PROGRAMS
So much fun!
These workshops are 45 minutes of non stop fun, learning and self expression with all of the benefits that a drum circle provides. Children ages 4 – 12 years love these exciting and uplifting workshops. The children not only get to explore themselves and others, but also get to learn to play the drums and percussion.
DRUMMING WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDCARE AGES 2-4
Learning and fun
Our music jams are specifically designed for the little people, with our main objective being fun. Children will develop skills in listening, counting, hand eye coordination and sharing.
Our sessions include, an engaging, interactive, hands on, 35 minutes of playing drums and percussion with our entertaining drumming facilitator. Concluding with an introduction to a relaxing, guided meditation journey where the children get to experience the beautiful sounds of the happy drum.
